Thankful For YOU

Fall is a magical time of year. The leaves morph into vibrant colors; the air turns crisp; we get to pull out our sweaters and boots. One of my favorite parts of fall, however, is Thanksgiving. We slow down for a few days, spend quality time with family and friends, unbutton our jeans for one more slice of pie, and reflect on all there is to be grateful for in our lives.

This season, I'm reminded of just how lucky I am to have YOU, my incredible Poppy & Stella family. Taking the leap into entrepreneurship almost eleven (!!!) years ago was exciting, and very scary. Can I turn this passion into a career? Will I choose the right inventory? Will anyone shop here? Thanks to all of you - my loyal customers, great staff, and incredible friends - the answer is yes. Poppy and Stella continues to try to provide our customers with a unique, welcoming, and confidence boosting shopping experience. As online and big box shopping becomes more alluring because of convenience and cost, shopping at local, independently owned stores becomes a deliberate choice. With your feet and your wallets, you vote to keep independently owned boutiques a part of our community. You all come back, over and again, and help keep this little dream of mine alive. And for that, I am oh so grateful.

So this Thanksgiving, as we gather around our respective tables, know that I'm saying "thank you" to each of you. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for supporting me. And thank you for continuing to come back.
